Vintage Antique General Television Tube Radio Wood1947 general television 2a5 tube radio, excellent working condition, equally suitable for display or day-to-day use, nr! All filter and by-pass capacitors replaced with high quality xicon electrolytic and sprague polypropylene orange drop capacitors respectively. Interior loop antenna provides excellent am reception. Power / volume and tuning controls function sa new. New power crod and plug. Original tenite plastic bezel and grill cover and knobs in very good condtion, there is some minor warpage and surface crack in the grill cover, but minor for tenite of this age (see pic #5). Original foil tuning indicator is a beautiful example of an aboslute classic, the most gorgeous foil ever imho lit with new indicator lamp. Repair (fill) made to wood case at the top seam between the top and right side cover (see last pic). Dial cover is new petg replacement, the originla cover had turned closer to orange than clear. Bcak cover is missing. Dimensions w = 9, h = 7, d = 6, weighs about 5 lbs. I ship world wide.
